Anti-Inflammatory Wellness Shot




I've been sooooooo sick for almost two weeks now! It won't go away!
It's like the annoying sore throat / super raspy voice. I sound like I smoke a carton of cigs a day.. Not attractive. 
I've been popping Echinacea, Zinc, and Vitamin C like crazy.. and I still have it. 
Well, I did run over three miles twice the past week so that probably didn't help.

I was watching Geri Hirsch's Snapchat the other day (love her!), and saw that she made this amazing wellness shot with ginger and turmeric. 

Here's the recipe below..





Ingredients
1 cup coconut water
1 inch piece turmeric
1/2 ince piece ginger (I did more because I LOVE ginger)
Juice from 1/2 lemon
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1 tablespoon honey

Instructions
1. Place all ingredients in a high powered blender. Blend, strain, and shoot!
